I love how when he took over, one of his first comments was along the lines of "I'm going to do my best to make things incredible difficult for the Labor Party."* Fuck doing what's best for the country or the constituents [Oh how I wish those two things could be the same...], let's just troll for lols.

Everything that's wrong in Australian politics right there. I wanted Turnbull away, I'm not sure Abbott will be any less of a douche though.

* I can't remember exactly what he said, but it sounded much more trolly than what I wrote.

I get very annoyed when my co-workers read the Daily Horrorcrap in the lunchroom and then collectively whinge about the "horribly high interest rates", or the middle-aged ladies at the shopping centre complaining to the check-out chicks that they can't buy as much useless and overpriced trash because of the "crippling interest rates".

They're still, as you rightly pointed out, incredibly low.
