You know..sometimes I really miss playing my cello. Dave and I were discussing music the other night about his friend Nate bringing his violin to Oak Ridge and playing while in German uniform. I happened to mention that I used to play the cello while he was talking about how awsome it would be to have a group play at an event and..well

That would be so cool, that you'd play you instrument again. I didn't know you played the cello, so very cool.

6 years of playing in school orchestras. I loved it at first but that last year..that was a low blow the former director told us to do *mutters* talk about crashing and burning!

If I do start playing again I wanna learn the piece that the Germans play in Why We Fight. Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131: VI, Adagio Quasi Un Poco Andante. A high goal for someone who hasn't played in 6 years XD

Just wondering, why that piece and not....uh....something else?

It's pretty and a good quartet piece..it sums up a lot of the feelings you can see on faces before a battle at an event.
