Autumn (rather feels like early winter, though) has hit Baltimore. If I remember correctly, the leaves turn colors as they produce less food for the tree due to the decrease in sunlight. That part right there makes me stop each time. To remember to open up my soul and heart to the world and not to forget that life exist outside my head and my thoughts. To remember to gaze at the horizon.

wow- thanks for the explanation of why leaves fall off of trees.

i wonder... why i've never wondered that before.
