SERIOUSLY - #2 has been so frustrating for me, but letting go of the ego is a really good continual practice.
#3 just kind of makes me quiet and thoughtful and I have a feeling I will meditate on that one for a long time to come.

I have 3
1. If you ever want to know where you want to be look where your feet are.

an old but good one

2. If you love someone set them free if they come back to you it was meant to be.
Finally from my grandfather
3 Plan your work and work your plan. meaning make a plan of action and do it. don't get stuck in the stuff

1. Keep your nose to the grindstone, your shoulders to the wheel, and your ear to the ground. (..and you'll get a point nose, round shoulders, and a dirty ear!)

2. Sometimes the only sense you can make out of life is a sense of humor.

3. Attitudes are more important than facts
4. There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so
5. One of the nice things about problems is that a good many of them don't exist except in our imaginations.
6. experience is not what happens to a man; it is what a man does with what happens to him
7. nothing has any meaning in life except the meaning we give it

Hey, thanks!

It was great to meet you (rather, see you again and meet you formally) yesterday. I'm excited to be working with you on this GINORMOUS project!

Your workshop title! Serenity prayer...Every thought doesn't need to be turned into an action (it's JUST a thought)...Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes...what you think about me is not my business...do the next right thing...one day at a time
