I awoke this morning to the sound of Poppop's voice telling Marcella to get a a cup of water so he could pour it on me to wake me up. And I got very awake then. And Marcella SAW that I was awake. DUDE! I'm farther than both of them! All the way in Boston, I would even risk my life and getting mugged, and I would take greyhound down here to be at your sweet 16. But don't expect an expensive present, as I will be a poor college student.

But I'll pick you up an icy cold 18 pack of Bud. And if that's an unacceptable present, then I'll drink it myself.
