When I was a camp counselor, I had a 9-year-old in my cabin start her period. I certainly like to hope that doesn't mean her childhood is over. :) Does your cousin feel weird about growing up, or does she just feel weird about the fact that blood is coming out of her ack omg?

I think she's feeling weird about the whole thing. She's not used to the blood thing which is yucky even when you are used to it. And I think she's sad because of it. Or ashamed or something, she seems kind of subdued now. I worry about it.
