Summary: Kim Junsu is the son of a wealthy family. When the coffee company of his father is facing bankruptcy, he's forced to marry Park Yoochun. However, the problem is that they're both not gay... Or are they?
(
Chapter 1)
This is how the journey of our hero began. They married. Or well, to be more precise, they fake married. Yoochun didn’t feel like going through all the hassle of marrying for real and he realized that the divorce would be a pain in the ass as well. He didn’t like any pains in his beautiful ass.
Instead of the marriage, Yoochun came up with the idea of creating a contract where some rules should be stated. It was a very smart move considering that he didn’t want to marry for real because it’d be too much of a hassle. He wouldn’t want more pains in the ass because of his or Junsu’s carelessness (though Yoochun was sure it’d be Junsu who would mess up).
(Junsu snickered after hearing Yoochun’s reasons for creating a contract. “You’re in a gay marriage and you don’t want any pains in your ass. That’s one sexless life you’re having. Or are you topping? I should know, just in case people ask how you’re in bed.”)
CONTRACT OF THE MARRIAGE OF PARK YOOCHUN AND KIM JUNSU.
1. Nobody is allowed to know that this marriage is fake, not during and not after the marriage.
2. We’re not allowed to see anyone else when we’re married. We wouldn’t want to see photos floating around in gossip magazines, would we?
3. Kim Junsu is to live in Park Yoochun’s house while married.
4. This fake marriage will last exactly 6 months. After that, Kim Junsu is to receive payment for his services. He’ll receive 120 billion Won for this marriage; 20 billion Won per month.
5. Jinjin Foods and Coffee Prince will support each other.
“Only twenty billion won per month?” Junsu laughed after seeing the contract. “You know I make twice of that amount in a day.” He meant to tease Yoochun because obviously, it wasn’t about the payment he was to receive but about the support of Jinjin Foods to Coffee Prince, but Yoochun couldn’t appreciate Junsu’s sense of humor. With a gruff face, he changed the 20 into a 40 and the 120 into a 240.
“I was just kidding! You sure have a bad temper,” Junsu laughed, “Anyway, this sounds good. I’ll sign it.”
I bet you’d like to hear everything about their first honeymoon, right? Unfortunately for you, nothing like that ever happened. Their first honeymoon consisted of Yoochun sleeping in his own bedroom which was twice the size of Junsu’s. While Yoochun read a book about the best ways to increase your fortune, Junsu spend his time trashing around in the unfamiliar bed. Yes, it was just as interesting as it sounds.
Anyway, I think it’s time to introduce another character. I know you’d rather read the content of Yoochun’s book (at least that’d be useful for your future) but I’m not here to tell that kind of story. You’d better go to the bookstore to look for that particular book instead of reading this fanfic.
No? I see you’ve decided to stay. Again.
Where was I? Right, the introduction of another important character. The fake marriage wasn’t something Junsu liked. Instead of telling his pushy parents to back off, he obeyed to their plans and ended up drinking away his worries. K-drama heroes have ten livers after all so it doesn’t really matter when one dies. They might want to sacrifice one of their livers for a pair of balls, though.
Junsu liked drinking at the bar of his friend, Jaejoong. You might think that Jaejoong is the other important character but to one’s surprise, he is not. The important character, also known as one of the leads of the story, makes its entrance a few hours later when it’s clear that the stubborn Junsu has a low alcohol tolerance and ended up drinking way too much for his own liking.
While Junsu was having a hard time keeping his heavy head up, a young man appeared at the bar. It was a tall and handsome man with clear skin and big, round eyes. Through his half-lidded eyes, Junsu could see the vague outline of the person but didn’t bother to pay much attention to him. The music was pounding into his ears and while his head moved on the rhythm of the loud pounding, he filled another glass with soju.
“Tch, acting all high and mighty, what do you think there’s for me to win with this marriage? You’re the one who needs a supposed gay lover,” Junsu mumbled angrily, putting the glass to his lips. “It’s not as if you’re doing me a favor. You don’t even know about the situation of the company of my dad. Bastard.” He threw the content of the glass in one go in his throat. “And here I am, being all pathetic. Just wait, if it weren’t for my dad’s situation then you’d have a hard time finding a lover. Just wait, after these six months you’ll be all alone. The only one you’d be able to marry is your fucking ego.”
After drinking the last bit of alcohol, Junsu got up angrily and walked away. Or well, it was his intention to walk away. Instead, he swerved to his right after he took the first step and he lost his balance while he wanted to take a second step. However, before his body was able to make contact with the floor, strong hands caught him by his arms. He let out a cheeky smile while he turned around to see who his savior was. “Thank youuu,” he said, still wearing the cheeky smile. In his head, he looked utterly charming, cute and totally not-wasted. In reality… well, let’s not talk about that.
Just then, he realized it was the handsome man who had just walked in. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to disturb you,” he said, trying to regain his balance.
“No, that’s okay,” the man answered. Junsu squeezed his eyes, trying to read the face of the man. Was he annoyed? Did he think it was funny? Unfortunately for him, his face was unreadable. Or maybe Junsu wasn’t skilled in reading faces. It was probably the latter. “Should I get you a cab? Or should I call a friend for you? You can’t get anywhere in this state…”
“No, ‘sokay, ‘sokay.” Junsu mumbled. “Thanks, duuuuude, see ya laterrrr.” He had decided he had talked too long with Changmin and had wasted too much time. What could he have done with these wasted five minutes? Right, he could have spent money on clothes, money on alcohol, money on whores, money on… yunno, money on everything!! The most important thing was that it wasn’t even his own money, no, it was Park friggin’ Yoochun’s money!
“Jaejoong-sshi, could you call a cab?” the unknown man gave up trying to talk any sense to the wasted Junsu and focused his attention on the bartender. Junsu didn't even know why but the stranger's nosiness disgruntled him. Why was the stranger so burned on keeping him at a club? He wanted to waste Yoochun’s money already, damnit!
Unfortunately for him, Jaejoong called the cab and it brought him to Yoochun’s house. That was the end of a big adventure. Or at least, that’s what Junsu thought. The very next morning, he woke up with a splitting headache, moaning while he squeezed his eyes against the bright light. Another moment passed before he stood up, ruffling bewildered through his hair. What had happened? How had he had gotten into Yoochun’s house?
Suppressing another moan of pain, he managed to push himself out of his bed. Junsu was sure he looked like a mess but he didn’t seem to care because of the splitting headache and he made his way downstairs. Right in the arms of Yoochun whose face was painted with chagrin. “Slept well?” he asked, his voice gruff.
“Erm… yes, very well.” Junsu said, walking past Yoochun to create a hangover meal. Unfortunately for him, Yoochun seemed to have gotten out of his bed on the wrong side. Observing Junsu carefully while he placed himself on table, he opened his mouth after a long silence, broken by the sound of the working toaster.
“Don’t you have something to tell me? Maybe, an apology?”
After a short moment of silence, Yoochun’s face tense with disdain while Junsu frowned to himself, the younger man opened his mouth. “Why should I apologize? … What did I do yesterday? I can’t remember…” Junsu frowned, trying to think around his headache.
“You really can’t remember?” Yoochun snorted. “Or are you just too embarrassed and pretending you can’t remember? Because that'd be very understandable.”
“Was it… that bad?” Junsu asked hesitantly. The last thing he could remember was… scolding a young man because he hadn’t allowed him to spend Yoochun’s money. He groaned. Damn, how could he have been so rude to a complete stranger? But what had happened after that?
He remembered… feeling a strong arm wrapped around his waist, supporting him.
He remembered… a person in a suit. A person who looked… kind of like Yoochun?
He remembered… the house. The familiar wallpaper, the familiar clean scent but also… another scent, one that seemed like a perfume, which he couldn’t really place.
He remembered… losing his balance.
He remembered… strong arms catching his body when he had fallen, arms which had immediately wrapped protectively around him.
And oh God, he remembered feeling really, really nauseous.
A gasp escaped from Junsu’s lips. “Oh my god, I’m so so sorry!”
“So you remember?” Yoochun chuckled but there was no humor in his voice. Instead, it had a tone filled with disgust and it made Junsu shrink, wanting to fade away into the wallpaper and disappear. Or at least, become invisible. “I’ll let you pay for my ruined suit, okay?”
After that day, Junsu was having a hard time. He was living his life as a ‘married’ man but his life in Yoochun's house was one where he held distance with his so-called husband. He had to admit he missed his life in America where he could do everything what he wanted, where he could hang around with his friend and where he could flirt with everyone he wanted (the golden line 'Hey! You want me? I want you!' worked almost every time he used it) . It sometimes felt like a Cold War at Yoochun's house (especially after the incident) and their marriage, even though it was fake, felt so cold.
Junsu regretted signing the contract but well, that's what you get when you don't listen to the narrator. The only thing that pulled him through this mess was the thought that he was helping his family incredibly; the company of his father had started running well again though it'd still take some time before they'd overcome the crisis. Also, there was Changmin.
What? You don't know who Changmin is? ...I didn't tell you that?
Lies, I definitely told you. Don't blame me, I'm just an innocent narrator! I think you're getting old. Well, sigh, because you are too lazy to read everything, skimming over certain parts, I'll tell you about Changmin. I should get paid extra for this, though. I could do a million other things right now, you think I don't have a life? I could go swimming, I could find myself a partner, I could have kids, I could go partying and I could go on for a good few hours! But no, here I am, wasting my time to keep you entertained.
Anyway, Junsu met Changmin the first time... no, the second time at a supermarket. Even though Junsu's life was a mess and he didn't like Yoochun and his huge ego, he tried to keep the peace at home. He had suggested cooking for that night and surprisingly, his 'husband' had agreed. Junsu hadn't expected his permission because with Yoochun's huge ego, he might have suspected Junsu to poison him. Because, he was that important. Not.
While Junsu was looking around to find the right ingredients for the meal, he bumped into someone. Startled, he turned around to apologize and the man seemed vaguely familiar. You might have been wanting more details like Junsu reaching out for a jar of dunno, pickles and his hand would meet another hand or maybe you had wanted Junsu to fall on top of the man because he's clumsy like that or maybe you had wanted, I dunno, a make out scene on the spot... but I'm not getting paid for that. Why should I describe every single thing, creating sentimental sentences which would make fangirls swoon while I could state the same thing in one short sentence?
Right, I see absolutely no reason to do that.
"It doesn't matter, I wasn't paying a lot of attenti- hey, you're... you're... aaaaah, you're from that night! Do you remember me?" the stranger smiled, a look of excitement reaching his big eyes. Junsu frowned. The man did seem familiar but... from what?
Big, round eyes. A high nose. Small lips. Flawless skin. Big ears. Small face. Long legs. Perfect figure. He did seem familiar...
And then he realized it. "Oh, God..." he groaned. "You were at that club too, right? Oh God, I'm so sorry for how I behaved back then... I'm so grateful you stopped me and send me home, even though that might not have been clear that night." he said, a deep blush filling his cheeks.
"No problem! Of course I should have send you home," the grin on the man's face became even wider. "What's your name? We didn't really have time for formal introductions, seeing how your condition was that day."
Junsu could feel his face becoming hot, all the blood rushing to his cheeks. God, why did he have to tease him like that? "I'm Junsu. Kim Junsu. What's your name?"
"Nice to meet you, Junsu. I'm Shim Changmin."
"Nice to meet you too. Want to grab something to eat? My treat, since I still owe you something for that day." Junsu said, smiling happily at the man. Park Yoochun's food could wait.
Changmin smiled. "I never say no to food."

A/N: Aaaah, it took me so long to update >< But well, I won't have time to write the coming week (my sister will marry this Wednesday and I'll be gone for holidays -finally- for three days) so I wanted to update before all the hectic things would kick in. Hope you enjoyed it! <3 I don't know, is the narrator a little bit too much sometimes? Do you want more of a story in it or do you enjoy the narrator's bitchy attitude? Let me know, I'd like to hear! <3
