OMG! I just finished reading all the Harry Potter books, I am soooooooo addicted. Two days after I finished Deathly Hallows, I picked up Philosopher's Stone right away, to get all I missed when I was tearing through them the first time around. Look forward to hearing what you think of them! Do you have any particular 'ships' yet? (I know it's hard when they're like eleven.)
I have a confession. I am trying so hard not to skip directly to book four. You see, I've seen all of the movies, so I basically know what happens and I've found the movie based on the first book to be the same. And it also doesn't help that I accidentally picked up book four instead of three at the library. And everyone has told me that book four is when it get's to where you can't put down the book at all! And now I'm in a conundrum.
Should I skip book three and just start at four? Or is it in your opinion that I resist temptation and read every single book in order?
Let me tell you, I'm finding it hard to resist!
Oh and to answer your last question, I have not formed any ships yet (but it's something I am greatly anticipating! Can't resist a good ship!!!! Especially those that may fall off the well beaten path...)
Read every single book, you will truly feel cheated if you don't. (Plus the movies, especially from 3 on, truly gloss over about 75% of the plot.) It's all part of the puzzle! Just avoid temptation and put 4 aside until you're done. I promise you it'll be better that way!
