I made a couple of bids, deleted one, poked around a bit and all seemed to be working smoothly.

I just placed a few random bits and they all went through just fine :) But I think I was also the only one who was actually bidding at the moment, so I am not quite sure how helpful that is. I'll be back in an hour to do some more test bidding.

OK, everything seems to work: I placed some bids, overbid several people and deleted a few times. After refreshing the former highest bidder/starting bid limit was visible again.

Is there an individual overview of the placed bids like in the former auctions?

I miss that too. It would be awesome if there's enough time to add that again.

Your wishes are my command ;)

It's not quite the same as the previous version - it won't let you place a bid then and there (because it's not tested and that's asking for trouble), but it will let you see which Tarts you've bid on, give you a link to go bid on them again you want to, and total your pledges.

I bid, over-bid, deleted, followed sample URLs, admired the delete confirmation speech bubble, didn't trigger any big red "broken! broken! broken! step away from the keyboard!" alerts.

I did, however, finally figure out why clicking on the category list on the left never seemed to change the list of items displayed: after two years and three or four auctions, I suddenly realized it's because they're filters, not radio buttons. You know, the things that allow multiple selections, so if you click on a second one, it doesn't replace (say) the podfic items with the graphics one, it adds them. And then if you're impatient and don't actually scroll down past the first screen to see if there are any changes to your original selections - well. You wind up refreshing the page and starting over and muttering a lot. *facepalm* I should have had far more faith in you, dear Hostess ( ... )

*g* Thank you for the testing!

It is indeed a multiple selector - it's basically so people can just click through exactly what they want to view and then scroll through that. At some point I will be refining that to have the add to/replace option too, but that auction is not this auction. The to do list is getting a little epic o_0

Once bidding starts, and you bid, you'll see the imaginatively titled "Your Bids" tab on the main auction page, which will (hopefully) let you keep track of the Tarts you've bid on, give you a link to go bid again, and see your pledge total. It's not been tested and may be evil, so ... you know.
