I can't believe it's been so long since i've been on LJ./myspace/the internet. The WRECK Center in Duvall was without power from Thursday night (the 14th) at 8pm until Wednesday night (the 20th) at 5pm. It's good to be back.

I will save you all the nasty details of road closures, trees down, detours, revenue loss, etc. It all sucked.

Merry Christmas right back at ya! Although, I've taken to refering to it as the annual state sponsored boost to fourth quarter corporate profits in my neverending quest to call a spade a spade. ;)

Also, Ramadan is a muslim (as apposed to African) holiday that has already happened for the year. Africa, to my knowledge, has no continent specific holidays. Which sucks if you're Africa... (Sorry, I couldn't resist the urge to raz you.)

Re: Africa, I was thinking that 'kwanza' thing. but it seems that it isn't african anyway, but created by an african-american. in the 60's. so never mind. I'm only gonna wish "Happy" to the state sponsored/holidays that have been established for 100+ years .
