That's wonderful that the party turned out well!

I am so sorry to hear that your house has been cursed with ill health. I wish I could offer you help or advice. The only thing I've got is that after several years of being a constant germ factory surrounded by pint-size vectors, James is finally healthy 98% of the time. He had tubes from age 2-3 and hasn't needed them since. May you have the same luck!

*hugs*

Mimi had them then, too. This will be her second round. I wish they had just put them in again instead of making us fuck around with some nose spray for 6 weeks.

Thanks, GW. Having a person that touches the floor constantly, inside and out, and then puts hands in mouth, is a strong vector!

It was fun. Not what I had wanted, but good.

Yay for Molly's birthday, but a big fat boo for the rest of it. I'm sorry your whole family is going through the wringer this winter!

Selfishly, I have to say I'm relieved to hear you say how much you hate nursing. I do too. I try to hide my feelings from my kids, but I'm not very patient with them.

Hang in there. Spring is almost here and maybe the germs will all go away. Maybe that's a pipe dream but I'm crossing my fingers for you.

Cory's got it too, now, and it came back on Mimi. I online shopped all morning while they watched TV and am feeling a little more human. Ugh. Glad I'm not the only one. I just feel like, for once, couldn't someone make it into the bathroom or at least off the carpet? I am not very sympathetic, trying to keep everyone at a distance while cleaning up a crying child and a mess I don't want anyone else to walk through. Ugh.
