On The Nanny

So, I don't want to set myself up to fail, but I don't like the nanny. The kids love her. She is pulling some financial shit with me that pisses me off. We had a deal, and she is interpreting it all fucked up

I know this is easy for me to say because I am not in your shoes, but she needs to be fired. She sounds like a lazy-ass who wants to be paid to socialize. If she's had 6 kids, there's absolutely no excuse for the shit she is pulling. If your contract states light house work, then she could tidy up at the very least. I had a 13-year-old babysit my two kids and three dogs yesterday, and even after putting the kids to bed and breaking up a nasty fight between the dogs, she still managed to put dishes in the dishwasher and clean up the playroom. And that was her first time sitting.

In my eyes, your nanny should be doing what she is paid to do. Not sit and talk to other nannies, shop, and lay around your house. And the fact that she argues with you over how to care for your kids just makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

I hope you can get it ironed out soon.<3
