I like(d) you lots. I've enjoyed a your books, and for a while now, I've thought that you've been just getting better. Lullaby got me hooked, and I bought your books rather than just borrowing from friends here and there. (I now own six of your books, mister. That's more than I can say for a lot of authors.) Last year, my friend and I cut out of school early to see Chuck Palahniuk speak and read. He read the story, I think it was "Guts," about the boy who loses his colon during a lovely autoerotic session at the bottom of his pool.

Four people in the crowded auditorium passed out while he was reading. Two of them in the balcony.

But when he talks about writing, I disagree with everything he says. And I'm not really a big fan of his writing. But I didn't get in trouble for leaving early.

What does he say about writing (with which you don't agree)? I'm fairly sure that I wouldn't much agree with him either.
