the difference between you and i is that you have a family to take care of which i do not. dont feel bad about it. work is work.
i get shit on people who live in big cities about shopping at wal-mart when amazingly, all they have in wyoming IS wal-mart.
people like that dont know about the necessary evils in this world because its easy to preach when you have nothing to worry about.

Work is work, this is true. Nonetheless, I find myself amazed and a bit uncomfortable at the string of small compromises I've made as the years go by and my priorities change. I mean, I was never a super socio-political activist or anything to begin with but I have always tried to make reasonably socially responsible decisions about the organizations I support and the products I buy. I can remember being really judgmental about "complacent consumerism" before I actually had a family and things I needed to be responsible for aside from myself.
