Danielle, that was a wonderful entry. I actually felt touched after reading it. It is incredible how one can realize how much they truly have when things are broken down in simple terms. So many of us spend our time whining and bitching over basically nonsense, when in fact we have more than half the world can even dream of. Great thoughts : )
Now that I finally read this two weeks later...I am so glad that you are finally finding a light in the darkness. I told you that with a little time, everything always turns out right. I feel that way as well. I mean things are good, and life is peaceful...It's definitely a good change.

about going to WSU: my last semester at macomb was last fall, and i started wayne this winter. yeah, it's scary at first. it's huge, and there are so many more people(of course). but after a few weeks, it's great. i actually think the people at wayne are much nicer and more considerate than they were at macomb. maybe it's the fact that most people at wayne actually want to be there and learn as compared to macomb where most(that i came across, at least) were there because mom and dad want them to go to school. they didn't care about coming to class, getting the work done, if they slept through it or not. at wayne, people pay attention, they do the work, they don't sleep(except for the random person that snores through film class). i dunno if i'm getting my point across clearly. sorry if i'm not.

The saddest part is that most people are too consumed with their own lives to even begin to realize what others face on a daily basis.
Not to say that I'm not consumed with my life, but it doesn't mean that I can't have compassion for others who don't have the same opportunities.
