Will we always be insecure?

At work yesterday, I was on the cookie aisle and this lady needed some boxes. so I had gotten her some boxes and she was picking out cookies and she says to me, I sure wish I was skinny. And she was just this little ole lady, and she wasn't fat at all. So, will all of us live our lives having little insecurities for ever, or is it just some people

As we get older we do get wiser and the lucky ones get over the unnecessary issues in their lives but I think it really depends on their experience with it. That old lady could be very intelligent but who knows what she went through to make her, at her age, still obsess over weight. Maybe not specifically weight but her self esteem. I feel bad for her.
