just passing through, looking for other GV people (ya for interest searches) anyway, he looks like a crossbred to me. He's got hardly any feather and he's really light through the legs. I be he's make a great performance horse, though! Those crossbreds kick butt!
i have to agree that hes not that great looking, I was just suprised to see him on pony city, i didn't think we had that many gypseys in fl. I don't really know anything about the vanners or the cobs, but I think that the vanners are absolutely gorgeous!
there are actually *lot* of gypsies down there. Dennis Thompson, who started teh breed registry and imported several of the first vanners into this country is down there somewhere... check out www.vannercentral.com, there's a link to florida vanners right on the front page. also, check out www.gypsyvanner.us - that's the farm I work...er...play for :)
if you want to go visit the farms, most of them are happy to spend time to show you the horses :)
