Small Businesses

I was just wondering how a small business is ran and started. Does anyone know what the process is and how a small business can be started. I just wanted to get a little information about it. I'm doing some research on my own. I might want to start my own business in the near future

i thought tom's parents had a small shop in liliha. i know nothing about business...well, maybe a little since i took econ but nothing else. i honestly wouldn't start my own business b/c i'd rather work under people. what were you planning to do if you were to open up your own business anyway?

Tom's mom did have a store, but I dont think there was so much management to it. Plus, I dont think his mom really knew what she was doing. I'm not sure, but I might want to open a small maternity clothing plus baby shop. Since a lot of the maternity clothing is only online. I read a newspaper article saying this industry was booming, so it gave me an idea. Not sure though. I might do it but I'm doing some research on it first before finalizing any decisions. Plus, I dont assume that I'll be opening anything within the next two years or so. Maybe in Three years. Need lots of research.
