I just wanted to thank everyne for their kind words and encouragement. Not getting the character role was upstting; worse, it was disappointing. Butyou all reminded me that there are different things out there that I might be better suited for. Hopefully, if I get one, I'll have just as much fun as I would being a character. I am so sorry that I didn't see these posts earlier--for some reason they don't show up on my friends page :(

First of all, you are SO not a failure. NOT AT ALL. And I know it sucks that you're the only one, and I wish more than anything that wasn't the way it is :(

I think you're so brave and so strong to be able to see past this--to find the good parts in other roles (because there are lots of good things).

I hope you're having fun on vacation! :)

I am so glad to hear this! You have absolutely no idea!! I was seriously tempted to just buy a ticket and fly to you and I don't know follow you around until you felt better or got sick of me and kicked me firmly back to Arkansas. Either way. :)

I'm glad you're have a good time and am SO jealous that you're gotten to ride Everest! Today they did the top 20 countdown on GCA or was it CMT..hmm..anyway at Animal Kingdom talking about Everest! I thought of you!

Also, just random but none of your posts show up on my friends page anymore either. It's weird. Ah well.

Thank you Bonnie, I'm sure I will too!

Vacation is a blast, I'm really glad I've been down here for a few days after finding out I didn't get the role. I was incredibly upset but being here has renewed my faith in Disney :-P And the college program, because everytime I see a young person I ask them if they're a CP! And everyone, no matter what the role, is having a great time :)

i KNOW you will have a blast there! I am glad that you did get to see Disney at this sad time.. I think it helped a lot... ALSO you will have soo much fun... even my friends that were in quick service miss it... that's how you know it's fun!

well i hope ur having a blast in disney and SOOOO glad u r feeling much better than they other day. like everyone said its no big deal u didnt get in. of course u wanted it but now look instead of being a character YOU can make your OWN magic!! and you know thats so much more lasting. Just thinking of a lil kid who would remmeber not just mickey, but ACTUALLY YOU AS A CAST MEMBER from their vacation who made it so memorable for them, thats how u will enjoy it much more!

oh and yea im still jealous u got to ride everest! lol :o)
