I need some advice.

For those of you that are currently pregnant, or have been pregnant.. has your insulin requirements changed at all during the pregnancy?

A few days ago I was taken by ambulance to the ER because my blood sugar was "below 25" and I was unresponsive. I was house sitting for my parents and since I had the same thing happen a few days before they left, (I went to the ER because my blood sugar was 13, although I brought it up before I went to the ER) my parents had their neighbor checking in with me throughout the entire week. I went to take a nap at 1:30pm, my blood sugar was 125 and I thought I would sleep for an hour or so... however 8 hours later, I was in an ambulance and didn't know what was going on. I'm currently 6 months pregnant, and so my baby was my first concern.. and thankfully his heart rate was perfect.

I'm on an insulin pump, and my Basal settings for the past 3 months have been

12:00am - 3.0
3:00am - 2.975
12:00pm - 3.5
3:00pm - 2.8
7:00pm - 3.2

Right now I'm taking

12:00am - 1.00
3:00am - .925
12:00pm - 2.15
3:00pm - 1.75
7:00pm - .925

Since being in the hospital twice in the past 2 weeks.. I changed my basal rates, and I'm currently taking less insulin than I took before I was pregnant... I've read everywhere how your insulin requirements increase the further along you get in the pregnancy, but never heard of having to take less insulin.

Last night I went out to eat and ate 3 fajitas, and stopped and got an slurpee later on, and only took 4 units of insulin for the entire thing.. something I would normally take 10 or more units for, and my blood sugar was 78 two hours later

I'm confused!

TIA
