sometimes i get like, a 160 number or so, and sometimes it feels unfounded, like i didnt have THAT many carbs. I guess I'm just worried about all the times I'm not testing.
The endo DID say that a few high numbers wont hurt the baby, its weeks and weeks of out of control sugars that does damage.

I agree, your sugars sound great to me. I'm type 1 also and like neanahe said, I had a lot more fluctuation in my sugars. I was hospitalized once for sugars in the 400's that wouldn't go down. I tried really hard to keep them in range (80-120) but I had a lot that weren't also. I had my baby girl 5 weeks ago and she was perfectly healthy and weighed 7lbs, 12oz. (Granted she was 3 and 1/2 weeks early but still). I'm sure you'll be fine, it sounds like you're taking care of yourself.

My first baby was almost 11 pounds :( I passed my standard glucose tests, but I KNEW something was up and asked the doctors about it, they said they were high but I still passed. I asked if I should DO anything, eat any differently and they said no...
And so I didnt. but the thing is.. I didnt TOTALLY carb out the whole pregnancy either, I mean, sure I had a bagel every day or whatever, and I ate otter pops like they were going out of style (but c'mon they're 4 carbs each, I'm STILL eating otter pops)..

I think I maybe just grow big babies.... my husband was almost a 10 pound baby, and so was his sister..

I'm recently diagnosed and met with the nutritionist who is having me eat a ton of carbs. I was insulin resistant before I was pregnant and was told by the doctor to limit carbs as much as possible, something I've done anyways for fifteen years as carbs tend to make me sick. I'm struggling to follow the diet they've put me on because of all the carbs! Its very strange to me to eat so many :\
