“To Harry Potter!” he yelled at the top of his lungs, his face flushing as he shouted.

this is a beautiful draco moment -- when i read it, i paused and just smiled for a bit before continuing on with the story. it really shows that he's grown up, gotten over his adolescent jealousy and resentment, and is able to feel and convey pride in and happiness for harry. it's lovely :)

Thank you ladies muchly! I have this reoccuring urge to write Draco's swift redeption on the battlefield, and it's horrible cause it always starts with a simple kiss. *swoon*

I'm flattered that you enjoyed the "To Harry Potter!" line, I didn't actually know when writing that I was going to stick anything like that in there. (And to be sure, I thought it was gonna come out a lot fluffier, what with what song it is and all.) But initially I thought this line was very unDraco, of course, right? However, due to circumstances, and his redemption, whatever that may be ;), it becomes a very honorable thing for him to say.

Oh, if only canon!Draco would get over himself...
