Them saying there could be complications is pretty much just them being safe. Kinda like saying, "oh by the way, you could die." to me before my surgery, even though the chances of dying were below 1%.

There's always going to be complications that they'll mention. The chances of them happening are fairly low percentage wise.

I know that it's worst case scenario, but he's taking it to heart, you know? I know he's strong and I know he'll be fine, I've told him that.

When it comes to rehabilitation, physical therapy is great in the pool. Less weight = less pressure on the hurt leg. I have two pins in my ankle and I had to re-learn how to walk without being a gimp with a limp.

I'm not sure exactly what they're going to do physical-therapy-wise but we're just taking it one day at a time.
