It didn't matter what case was solved, there were rules.
Either he had to get used to them or he had to re-think his career options.
So, with two months cleared for him, Harry returned home and promptly fell asleep flat on his face in his bedroom. The knocking had interrupted the fitful dream he was in the middle of.
His tee shirt was wrinkled, his gym shorts were wrinkled, his hair might have been, if that was what hair did.
He wouldn't have cared if it was a delivery man but his eyes nearly popped from his skull when he saw Ginny.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, the words spitting out of him. "Erm- sorry, hey Gin-"

"I'm looking for Ron actually." She gave a little shrug as she added, "Checking in on him like a good sister and all that."

He couldn't have anyone seeing her hover outside his door. Not when everyone and their mothers were up his ass about the gossip column.
"He's um, he's not here-" Harry said, offering her a crooked smile. "He's at work-"
Which is precisely where he should have been.

"Oh. Right!" She hit her hand against her forehead in a joking gesture. "I forget sometimes that people keep normal work hours since mine are so weird."
Ginny turned to face Harry then with a slight frown. "Though if Ron's at work, why aren't you there as well?"
