getting dissed by lj

 i have logged in over a dozen times, through email comment response responses, from the basic lj home page, and posting to my own journal.  the only time i am even given options for anything other than "create an account.." etc. at the top of any screen is when i am on the 'Comment Posted' screen... and even then, anything i do subsequent to that
