You need to talk to your landlord if the problem is really that bad, especially if you are supposed to be sharing the patio, basement, and driveway. We had some similar problems with our apartment in Farmville...but our landlord's daughter was the one that kept "stealing" the driveway from us (and we were actually the only ones who were supposed to be able to park there), so we couldn't really complain to our landlord about it...good luck!
