Hey all,

I just saw this cool meme from wohitzi, so I thought I'd try it out.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it ( Read more... )

Is it said that I've never read "Alice in Wonderland" before? xD This entry really makes me want to check it out, though.

Lol it's not sad! I think in our culture, some stories are so well-known and wide-spread (like "Alice" or "The Wizard of Oz") that many people know the story and characters by heart, yet have never actually opened the books themselves.

If you get a chance, though, definitely check out both "Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass". Even though they're technically children's books, they're both thought-provoking and sometimes head-spinningly confusing (in a fun way ^_^).

Yeah, I guess that does happen a lot. I mean, I've never read "Anne of Green Gables", but it's what my province is most famous for.

I'll definitely look into checking it out. =D Maybe I can find a copy in the school library.
