I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. I totally understand that Elena's pissed and hurt. Damon killed her brother in front of her. It's not something you just get over. But to manipulate him like she did...not cool, Elena. I thought she was better than that.

Yeah, let's hope Damon's words act as a wake-up call for Elena. While I love how deliciously evil and selfish Katherine is, I love Elena just as much because she's *not*. She needs to realize she's better than acting like that, no matter how (rightfully) angry she is at Damon.

LOL, you and me both. When the extended promo and preview clip came out early Friday morning, I was like, "Okay, be Thursday again NOW!"

My life has become waiting for my next TVD fix. I'm officially a junkie. :(

I pretty much agree with everything you've said here.

I'm pissed at Elena for how she handled herself this episode. I get she's pissed at Damon, as she should be, but she stooped to HIS level. To Katherine's level, and when one goes that far out of their way to get back at someone, there is more behind it than just anger. Elena is trying to convince herself that she shouldn't like Damon, and as a D/E shipper, I think it's because she wants him, but is wrestling with the fact that OMG HE'S EVIL! In other words, "Methinks the lady doth protest too much."

Also, I literally screamed at the TV "I KNEW IT!" when Damon came clean about the ring. I've believed from the get go that he didn't see it.

I still despise Bonnie too. Girlfriend has some issues.

I totally ship Stefan/Caroline. They are way too cute together and have some great chemistry.

Also, my favorite thing about this episode? The return of TEAM BADASS!

*This* is what interested me the most about the episode. What we saw in Bad Moon Rising was soooo unlike anything Elena's done in the past. Not that Elena was a paragon of virtue or anything, but we've never seen her purposefully use anyone before. And in this ep, she not only uses Damon to get info, but also uses her own boyfriend to piss off Damon. That is NOT an Elena move. That's pure Katherine, baby ( ... )
