Totally forgot to watch Gossip Girl tonight, because I was distracted by my Psych dvds.  I don't even care.

I called the library today to see if the position had been filled.  They did hire someone, but they're going to have two more spots opening up soon, so they'll be going through the applications again.  The girl I talked to said it might be

I just totally suck at first impressions... it's not like this is new information for me, lots of my friends were annoyed by/didn't like/outright hated me at first.

I feel like you're totally disparaging my taste as I liked you from the start. Does this mean there's something wrong with me? *ponders*

Also, have you tried craigslist for job postings? And then there's elance, which might be worth checking out!

I'm not disparaging your taste at all. Obviously, you are just able to detect awesomeness earlier than most. You simply responded positively immediately to what many others have to acquire a taste for.

I did try craigslist at one point, although I suppose it has been a while. I have not checked out elance, I will have to do that now. I'm very unhappy with the sites that everyone locally says to use. They seem to mostly be breeding grounds for National Guard and "make money typing on Google!" ads.

Dr. Cherry is awesome. I'm glad you're enjoying your class with her. I'm also jealous, but not so much that I'd offer to write your papers.

I've found that craigslist usually has positions that need pretty immediate fillings. At the very least, it means getting more interview practice in before the library calls back!

It's absolutely pouring out and I have to walk to campus. Yay?
