I was crying before because my DirectTv bill is due by tomorrow or my cable gets shut off. I can live without cable but I was just upset that I'm broke, I guess. So I pay $50 (that I *thought* I didn't have) and then I check my bank account...and what does it say? $2100!!!! THANK YOU TAX RETURN! Monday I will be the proud owner of a new Macbook.

So I turned on the Food Network & was watching some English lady make food. She was saying the weirdest..cheesiest lines while cooking & I'm thinking "Who the fuck is this?" then the title of her show comes up & it was that Nigella lady you mentioned in a post before. It was so funny...she really does suck & is very very messy..

hahahahaha! im glad someone agrees! i seriously HATE her. her dishes are not innovative. one time i was watching and she put peas and garlic in the blender and called it mushy peas. wowwww i never would of thought of that!

Hi! I saw you on NYers and thought I'd pop over to your LJ. I have been considering DirecTV - how is that service? I guess its quite pricey.. but is the quality good? Also, I don't know this Nigella woman on FoodNetwork - but how do you like Rachel Ray? I can't stand her! haha

it IS pricey but i love it. i like being able to record my shows and fast forward through commercials. ive had it since October and it only went down once, and even then it was only for a few minutes. they also have really great service, i like it for the most part. its my fault its expensive though, its $99 for all the channels and then another $48 for hbo/cinemax/showtime. i have to call tomorrow actually to take off some of those because I only need HBO/Showtime for Weeds, Dexter and Entourage ;)

You need to watch Nigella on Food Network, then you will realize why she sucks hahaha. I have a love/hate relationship with Rachel Ray
