“There’s a field near the dream. I watched it grow with whitest light. I watched us all reach out and lean for the strength to touch the sky.”
It was different than she thought it would be. He was rough with her, hands hastily exploring and angry kisses leaving a trail of wetness and red streaks all the way from the crook of her neck to her pubic bone. Or maybe, she admitted silently to the voice in her head, it was exactly how it was supposed to be.

The clock was ticking, taking away seconds, minutes and hours and still she was sitting in exactly the same bar with exactly the same thoughts and not a solution to the questions of her restless mind

Oh man, this is so sad, but so good (and kudos to you, for making it not cracky at ALL.) Tammy and Peter are both characters who have periodically struck me as having difficulty with maturity in matters of the heart, so this would make a strange kind of sense for them -- have a kinship over the ways they were wronged, fruitlessly using one another for revenge, but in the end having it only hurt themselves. It's really great, and I *love* seeing authors working with some of the off-pairings -- it takes a lot of creativity. Thank you so much for writing this!
Thank you, really. It means a lot. I'm not particularly a fan of crack fic so the thought never crossed my mind. My stories have a tendency to be sad. Not everyone appreciates that, so really thank you!

I would never have thought of putting Tammy and Peter together but you really made it work. I love how you weaved in their conversation from VIP Treatment, with Tammy saying that Will was in love with someone else. This is exactly the type of self-detructive behavior I can imagine from Tammy. I feel sad for her, sitting in that bar all alone, walking out of that bathroom feeling dirty and used.
I couldn't see them being together as a couple but they are both adults with an active sex life (I hope lol) so it made sense to me that in a strange way they could actually connect over their failed relationships. Revenge often times hurts more people than just the person you want to hurt and mostly it doesn't satisfy, not really I mean, not when it's about love.
