Not only do I love this prompt, and it ill be stuck in my head all day, I just had to say your picture made me laugh so loud ppl were looking at me funny (not a first, but yeah LOL) GREAT!

This prompt is too delicious to resist, but I found myself facing the deadline with an immense case of writersblock. Piadu, fortunately, helped me and, in a quite Kalinda-like way, kicked block`s ass! (Thanks my friend :P) So I hope I`ll be forgiven for solving it like this: I will post the prologue, and the rest of the story will follow!

Summary: Courtney knows all and sees all (with a little help…) but can she use subtlety to make clear to Alicia that Kalinda is more than just a friend, and doesn’t deserve to be treated like an enemy?

Assistance.Courtney Wells had always made it her business to know everything about everyone. One could not work for Patti Nyholm without understanding the power of knowledge. And the ebony-skinned assistant had always had a keen eye for detail

Oh my now you made me doubt! I had in my mind Courtney was working with Patti, and didn`t like the way she worked and treated Alicia in questioning, and then `switched` loyalties after the case... It WAS Patti, right?

The epilogue of `Assistance` is now up, for those who are interested. Anticipation, binoculars and streetlights merge together in this ending of a much longer journey than I had foreseen!

Story summary: For Courtney, assisting never has been just about getting coffee and fetching papers. But this time she is really going the extra mile. Can she use subtlety to make clear to Alicia that Kalinda is more than just a friend, and doesn't deserve to be treated like an enemy?
