Oh man, do I ever love the idea of this *thing* between them smoldering under the surface for all that time... I wrote a similar scenario once upon a time (angstier, though) in a story called In For a Penny, but of course it always ends the same because it's the only way it CAN end -- there's no way they can deny it!! Thanks for the happiest of anniversaries. :)

While I rather hate the idea that 10 years could pass as water under the bridge for these two, I ca totally see it and I very much like how you drew it.

I LOVE this line: Still selfish but in a different, more mindful way. It exactly what I hope that Alicia becomes.
