turns out underneath my disgusting 40 year old carpet there are beautiful hardwood floors!!! wooo hoooo!!  oh man, i can't wait to go home and tear up some carpet!!!

Nice! What a pleasant surprise! The house my family had in Emmaus back in the 90s was like that. Horrid, smelly, obnoxiously red carpet. Underneath, absolutely beautiful woodworked floors (our house dated back to the 1800s).

I'll be back in the LV this Friday - Tuesday, and possibly the next Friday - Tuesday.
