I could never fill this out. I wouldn't be able to choose.

Just wanted to say that I *love* "Disarm" by Smashing Pumpkins and "The Scientist" by Coldplay (that one makes me think of my sis).

Also, Girl, Interrupted is good. So is the book. :)

Which did you like better, the movie or the book? I thought they both had strong qualities and that the book could've been longer.

It's hard to say. I like them both.

I like the movie because it has more suspense with the extra/changed scenes, but I wonder how Susanna felt about having them added in since it's a true story.

I like the book because it took me into her head more and I really like that it was written in vignettes. Short, yes, but I wonder if it would be as effective if not for the brevity.

Which did you prefer?

Book: I was disappointed at its abrupt end, basically. The imagery with Susanna's last encounter with Lisa almost made up for it though.

Movie: I really, really enjoyed it, I think I liked it better. I also saw it before I read the book, so that may be why. Overall, I thought it was well-rounded and had some really interesting and effective stylistic choices.
