So I am juror #2. Alas, I think the trial will be over by Monday. But, that's still a nice little vacation from work.
And randomly, Cirque de Soleil freaks me out. And not in the good way. -

I baked a cake.
I did. Like a real cake. It's cooling now and then I'll frost it. And yes, oldfashionedgrl it's from a box, and no I don't feel bad about that. :P 'Cause I broke the eggs and measured the oil and stirred it all by hand. Actually, my birthday was fairly nice. I was sick the day before and missed work. Back to work on my birthday, but not feeling great. My mommy came down to take me out to dinner. Yesterday
I found out that Mary Travers died yesterday. And that, makes me very sad. I adore her. And she will always be part of my favorite musical group ever. She was amazing and glorious, though her fashion sense could have been improved.

Not gone yet.
So, I entered the Good Housekeeping short story contest, which for some reason I find terribly amusing. I'm sure nothing will come of it, but it was good to write again. I have a couple of stories I started months ago now that I just stopped working on. Maybe I'll get around to finishing them. I think one is Gilmore girls and one is Harry Potter. ( Read more... ) -
This welcoming myself back is getting tiresome.
But, I am hopeful that I will be far more consistent this time around. Have been to work for over three weeks running, which is a good start. Old meds, new therapist, and I'm trying to think positively.
I know I've missed tons and tonnes, and I'll try to do some catch up. But know that I love you, my flist. Mwuh!
