Sounds like my last Friday. I left the house at quarter after seven and didn't return until about midnight.

You wrote "finally" three times in the second to last paragraph, but zero times in the other paragraphs. I'm not sure why I'm pointing this out.

Yeah...It really is a "finally" kind of thing. We haven't gotten to see each other much and we never have the same evenings free, so it's like "yay! FINALLY!"
