here's the scarf for my dad's wife. i did the same pattern as the purple one for my mom, but with this chenille yarn you can see the lace effect much better.

I really like the hoodie colors. I want to start making myself sweaters. I just need to find a pattern that is relatively easy.

those colors just weren't for me. but i have a TON of that yarn now. would you like a scarf? it's soft chenille.

oh and...i knit myself one sweater and the hoodie. both sets of instructions were easy to follow. i got the sweater pattern from elann.com and the hoodie from "hip to knit."

Beautiful scarves! I especially like the blue one.
The sweater just scares me. See? I could never knit something like that. You know, something that required multiple directional decisions. The fact that the sleeve is going one way and the neck needs to do something else... that just would blow my tiny mind. I like the hoodie colors, though. Are you going to start over now that you frogged it?

the hoodie wasn't too bad to knit, the directions were written for dummies :) but it's just not for me.

i started a scarf for a friend that likes navy. if you like the colors i could make one for you too!

I do like the colors, and I think I especially like the way you put them together. Don't make me one, though. I would like to think spring is too close! ;)

I love the alpaca scarf! The two tones are gorgeous. I like the chenille but orange just isn't me.
