people grow and people change. i am no longer friends with any of the kids that i went to k - 8th grade with... we still know eachother and see eachother once or twice a year, but we aren't friends like back in the day.

you're in a strange place in life where you'll soon find that your group of friends will shift no matter how hard you try to hold on. some friends (who you will eventually recognize as true friends) will stay, while others will go.

many people's good friends throughout life are college friends while their high school friends become more of aquantences. all seniors must face this. but keep in mind that every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

to relate all that to you,

you're right smack in the middle of shifting friends trying to hold them all in. i can tell it's getting difficult for you to see who your friends are, but that's ok. even though it can be annoying as hell trying to figure out what's going through people's heads and if you're still friends and such esp at an all girls school with all the drama that it brings (subi was easy, we just used simple grunts to tell).

a lot of times it's more difficult on girls in my opinion. b/c all my good friends from subi are still good friends. my shifting group was made up of *all girls from LR* mounties i might add.

they're a shifty bunch.

but remember that no matter where you land with your friends, i'll always be here. and i love you.

and you rock.

I support and agree with the above two statements. And yes, they are a shifty bunch...

what you said in lizz's post. clairesbears January 18 2006, 02:12:40 UTC
i feel the same way! I don't think of Robert E Lee as being like...against the blacks, i think of him as a southern general, who was jsut fighting for his country "confederate states of america". he was a brilliant man too, and deserves a holiday, but why the same day....
