Actually I'm going under the laser. I've decided to ditch the glasses and decided to get LASIK done. I've been thinking about it for a long time now but I've always chickened out. In a moment of sanity (or insanity -- depending on how you look at it) I decided to make an appointment for a free consultation. Why not, right? Everyone in the office

You know, I've been dreaming about getting rid of my glasses for years now so I'm especially interested in the results of your procedure. Some of my friends have done it and I already know it would be great, the only thing that's preventing me from doing the same right now is money... Good luck, I'm sure waking up in the morning and seeing the world is great. ;)

Girl, I am so envious of you---what an amazing thing perfect/near-perfect vision when you go to bed, when you wake up, and all points in between would be! I'm not a candidate for Lasik since one of my eyes is nearly useless, so I'm excited for you, and you'll have to tell me what it is like to have perfect clarity without glasses! :)

I'm also so excited for all of the awesome (busy, but exciting busy) things that are coming up for you as your plans start to come together. Not too much longer, now!

You two are absolutely precious together, by the way! :) This definitely seems to be the year for weddings. *smile*
