Having been through the pregnancy and kids phase, I'll warn you: sometimes there is absolutely no way to prevent massive weight gain. If you're on strict bed rest, you can't move or calorie restrict. And in that first year, if you're nursing your kid, you can't calorie restrict - and you can spend 12 hours a day sitting still to nurse your kid.
So I'd advise you amend your statement to: if I ever go there again, I know unequivocally that I can get back to where I want to be. :)
Yes, that's true. If something like that does happen, I'll be prepared. I guess I just don't want to be the woman who just gains and gains because they are pregnant and don't care, and use that as an excuse. I want to be healthy for the baby, and eat healthy, nutritious things for the little one. I want to be the most loving, caring, conscientious mama possible. Like you! <3
