some boring ramblings of mine, as usual
okay, so i just finished my vacation homework (thank you very much for the 5 hours mr mullaney). isnt it ironic that its called that. well, i dont know if it really is, but thats what i call it. but having homework over vacation totally defeats the purpose of a vacation in the first place.
so tomorrow is the first day back, and im not looking forward to it other than the fact that its ginas birthday. shes turning 18, wow we are so old. legally an adult? thats ridiculous. isnt it weird how when ur little and you looked at all the highschoolers you were always in awe of how old they looked and acted. and now that thats actually you, you dont feel like that at all. i mean, i still make bracelets for heavens sake! i really cant wait til may, til im finished with highschool. everyone keeps telling me how awesome college is/will be, and that makes it only seem further and further away.
so, as my dad so kindly reminded me, this was my last hs february vacation. its sad in a sense, cuz lasts are always sad, but also sorta optimistic. however, i got sick during vacation. well, just the end of it. i have a stuffy nose and a killer cough that likes to surface now and again so my mom has provided me with bagfulls of ricola coughdrops.
this is kinda random, but on the topic of my dad i thought id share a few joe sweet sr. stories. lol so this vacation my dad and i go to building 19, and hes all like oh this is so nice i get to hang out with you, we never do anything anymore... so then we get there and he looks and me and is like "we dont have to stay together do we?" hah thanks dad. so then he wants to buy lotion for his employees at work cuz with them handling the mail all the time their hands get all rough and crackly. so were looking at the lotion and he doesnt have his glasses on so he cant read them. this was causing problems, and apparently its happened before. he breaks into this story of how he once had dry skin on his face, so he decided to put lotion on it. but apparently, he didnt read the bottle correctly and it wasnt lotion, but actually liquid soap. so there he is, putting liquid soap on his face everyday and just leaving it there like it was lotion. so he starts to get a really bad rash, and cant understand why the "lotion" is making his skin worse rather than better. haha i love my dad. i cant wait til i have kids someday, i really cant. if they ever do anything embarassing or stupid i bet ill have a story about myself that i can share that was problly 10 times worse, hah. i wonder if ill be a "cool" mom. i hope so.
ET on MTV said the OC was a re-run this week. is that true? didnt they have a new preview? lemme know
