It's still way too hot to sleep, so I can also just write my long due blog!

First of all - thank soooooo much for all the lovely birthday emails and comments - every single one of them warmed my heart!

We celebrated my birthday first in Newport (Aquarium) , then in the evening at the Doug Fir in Portland, a nice place in a lovely city.

I am so jealous of your twin peaks pics! My husband and I have wanted to visit there (well, not there but you know what I mean, washington, lol) forever! You lead such an exciting life. Great pics as usual! :)

Yes it was definitely worth visiting the falls - we hummed the twin peaks theme the whole time. Bom....bombom.... ;)

I'm so sorry that I missed you! But I'm really glad you got to come out to my neck of the woods! Newport is our favorite place to vacation. I'm so happy that you had a wonderful time here!
