the chicago story
ill be nice and put my long story in a lj cut for the ones who will actually want to read it.

the "short" story:
so friday i woke up around 4 am and suprisingly i was wide awake, i think i was excited or something, but i was pretty crabby and left on a crappy note with my parents. the bus ride was pretty quiet on the way there, everybody was tired. i was freaked out about the whole flying a plane business, but it turned out to be soo much fun. it felt like a roller coaster, i loved it. the plane ride was pretty boring i must say though, i didnt get to sit next to anybody i wanted to, becuase the people i wanted to switch with wouldnt let me. but i got a window seat, so that was pretty sweet. i sat with mrs florio and marcell (one pretty cool kid i must say).
when we got off the plane it felt like it shouldve been around 10am or something, but no it was 8. garsh the morning felt like forever. we left and went on a train to chicago. it smelt funny and a lady was staring at me and danielle on the train so that was interesting. then we walked the rest of the way to the hotel. i thought my shoulder was going to fall off becuase of the long walk and me carrying my bag. we stayed at a hilton hotel, and no i didnt see paris. that hotel was so freaking nice, but it smelled like a funeral home. there was a grand piano there and everybody wanted me to play (like usual :( ) but i didnt want to get in trouble. but i played anyways and they told me to stop and i felt embaressed. sigh. then we waited for a long time and got to go in our rooms. the beds were so comfy i just wanted to lay in them forever. and there was two bathrooms with a little display of neutrogena items heh.
after that we went to the zoo. i had fun, but nobody else did haha. i walked with ashley troyer, marcell, and danielle. i like animals and i felt like a little kid again. i took so many pictures of the animals and it made me happy. i think i freaked marcell out a little because i was being kinda crazy. after awhile it did get boring though. so we left early and went to the meeting place for everybody (which was a big statue) and it was cold. then i hear nikki smola say "theres another one", and i look and there was a used condom. hmm. there were like 5 of them all around the zoo. it was weird. what a dirty zoo..
we left the zoo and went shopping. we went to H&M, i love that store. i got a sweet purse that is teal and bluish greenish and its sorta like zebra stripes, and i got a bright yellow shirt with some stuff written on it. i also saw a bathing suit that i wanted and it had fruit all over it, but i didnt like the bottoms they were too tiny and i didnt like how it looked. then we walked around and went to victorias secret. there stuff is so expensive its so insane. $7.50 for a pair of underwear. and $45 + for a bra. hmm, ill just go to target. but most of the girls (julie, danielle, jessi) are like, lets do the 5 for $25 deal and get a pair each, i didnt really care so i went in on it. then we met up at the water tower with the rest of the gang. almost every girl had a victoria secret bag, and all the guys tried to look inside them, it was funny. shvonne was getting chased by joe mendoza heh.
we went back to the hotel and people went swimming. me, julie, and danielle stayed in our room and just talked and stuff. we ended up having most of the gang in there and we played "10 fingers", im so pure :) haha. it was funny to see who got out the fastest, and that was definitely dan mendoza. marcell and greg one for the purest though.
after the crazy time in the hotel room we went to dinner at "dicks last resort" where its okay for the servers to treat you like crap and throw napkins at you and make you get your own food and drinks. it was so much fun, the people there were so hilarious. we were allowed to throw stuff at other people in the restaurant, i ended up getting in a paper fight with other people, and getting a wad of people thrown at my butt from some weird guy..but it was all fun. abby, lisa, benny, charlie, mark, greg, and danielle all got these huge paper hats that said ridiculous things on them. the hats were meant to look like condoms, how nice for a school trip haha. i ended up buying a shirt from there, the only shirt from there that didnt have something stupid on it hehe, but its huge. we went to the navy pier after that, walked around and sat and watched crazy people dance to a small concert of a band that was singing crazy music. we went back the hotel later and did nothing.
on saturday most of the girls woke up early and went to marshall fields to get their make-up done. the people originally told us that they wouldnt do it unless we were going to buy three items there, heh right..but we found some nice people and they gave us make overs. everybody looked so cute i loved it. you couldnt even tell i got mine done though, so that was a dissapointment. then we walked down state street and went to forever 21, the best store in the world, and to another H&M. i bought a zip-up jacket and a blue shirt. the jacket matches my brown roos, its crazy.
then me sage and shavonne separated away from the group. we had so much fun, we went to the 8 story mall and went to the chicago store. we saw some cute babies and a smelly man tried to get me to buy a ring that was $20. we walked around and saw a guy dancing on the street and he didnt look poor or anything. then we read a sign next to him that said "help a graduate student pay for college", it was funny. we walked more and then we saw two men spray painted from head to toe. one was made to looke like a silver robot, the other, a copper cowboy. and then we saw two models in a window, a guy and a girl in bathing suits, sage took a picture of the guys butt hehe. we walked in a sage asked if we could get a picture with the guy and we all got a photo with him, its funny. we walked around the water tower place forever and had fun in "sharper image" and sat in massage chairs :)
we didnt really do anything after and left. i felt really sick before and after the plane ride back and me sage and shavonne got lost in the airport heh, that was kinda scary. but i had fun, it would be a lot better though if other people could come along that arent in student congress.
