Breeze 001 [private text to Miles; then public video]
[She read and re-read the manual on the PokeGear about private messages just to make sure this one was definitely going to one person and one person only. However, she has not the skills to keep messages unhackable. But who would really try to hack into a message from Iris to Miles...?]
Miles--I actually managed to gain a ride closer to New Bark Town, but only part of the way. I'll be in Cherrygrove for a while. I would greatly appreciate it you would please kept my affiliation with you know what a secret. I don't deserve to be protected by you or anyone else but [The message just cuts off.]
[The video begins with a close up on Iris' face. She seems to be near the beach at Cherrygrove, because the sound of the ocean can be heard. She's sitting on a bench just outside town, the sunset glowing around her.
Her Cubone is in her lap, looking uncomfortable. Either he's not fond of her cuddling or he's camera shy. Iris looks contemplative, unsmiling. Serious.]
Hello everyone. I'm pleased to report I've made it to Cherrygrove. I was warned when I first arrived that it would be hard to deal with the Pokemon on Route 29 since I started off with a Cubone but--[Her Cubone interjected an annoyed growl and she stops, taking a moment to soothe him. "It's okay, Chrys."]
As I was saying, I had some difficulties against the other Pokemon on the route. I was wondering if there was any way I could learn more about Pokemon in general? Battles are not something I'm fond of, but it seems like an inevitability. I might as well learn to handle things as best I can. I would hate to inconvenience or worry anyone.
I was also encouraged to find a traveling partner, so if there's anyone in Cherrygrove that wouldn't mind sharing their time with me... I would appreciate it.
