How to have it all

Yesterday I had my first 'Womenomics' dilemma. I got a call from an agency (I wasn't expecting to hear from them until January), telling me about a job that starts on January 4, with a salary that pays £3,000 more than my previous job. I'll start getting desperate around May (but hopefully I'll get something before then!!!).

Yes, I had considered the negotiating route, but as the job also involved a 20 minute bus ride out of the city, I thought I'd wait to see if there were any other jobs closer in.

I'll return the book to you at Christmas...

Well, I've only read the introduction so far, but it was enough for me to make a quick decision!

I've been thinking about how I keep shooting myself in the foot, not wanting to be bored at work, but then killing myself by taking on too much responsibility - why do I keep doing that? Hopefully this book will quell that impulse!

Well, we'll see. What's happening with your work situation? And did you get an accounting qualification?

It didn't work out that way - couldn't get the piano up the stairs - so the studio is in the dining room. No $ for darkroom yet. Someday...

Yeah it's ok, just handed in all my work for this term and I'm fairly confident I'll pass. It snowed in Plymouth today :)
