May I just say that I'm super excited about the fireworks this year? It's not just because it's me, and I love fireworks so incredibly much, but the music selection, particularly for Spain and China, looks pretty awesome:

Spain: Star Wars, Hercules, and a whole lot of Hans Zimmer
Canada: Canada's usual big band stuff, but hey, I'm not complaining

I love it too! I nearly died the year that Sweden used it!!!

China usually brings it. Except when they are trounced so thoroughly by Sweden, with their ABBA and their POTC soundtrack. So I am thinking that it shall be alll China this year.

See, I hated the year that Sweden used ABBA, but China wasn't that good that year either. Their music was booooooring.
The year Sweden did POTC rocked my world

I have only seen Sweden once. They did a medley, and included both. Soooo yeah that was the same year. Maybe someone else used POTC?

2004, Sweden did a medley that included POTC (and Amazing Grace, Unchained Melody and other songs ... perhaps you're right and they included ABBA too, and I just blocked that part out of my memory). 2005, Sweden did a medley that was all ABBA. The first one was frickin' awesome. The second one was awful.
