I didn't think that the West End could get more beautiful than I'd already seen it this year: bathed in summer sunshine or in the soft shadows of summer twilight, overflowing with autumn's splendour under clear October skies, cosy and grey on drizzling mornings ... but I must say, that this morning the West End looks spectacular, with the sidewalks
