While the peircing thing sounds cool...why are you getting a tattoo if you don't know what you want? Its your body etc etc etc...but as your in my social community i don't want to see you stuck with something you chose on a whim. Well as for actual advice...you might want to think about images/symbols that have always had meaning for you. One of the tattoos i am getting is a hedgehog, b/c they have been important to me since birth. If i still care after 22 years ill prbly care in another 22. So...what has always had meaning to you?
yes i have many ideas, but i wanted to see if i got any inspiration from my friends. half of the tattys i get will be covered by better tattys later anyway, i have way too many hookups to not cover myself in decent tattoos. a heart has always been a symbol for me, and i have a picture of vines on somesones shoulder. id send the pic to you but i attatched it to my smoke case and cant scan it. its pretty much a tiny cluster of vines on my shoulder( not too much black mostly brownish blac and olive green) and one of the vines branches out into a curl onto the edge of my shoulder so it looks liek if it were to keep growing it would go down my arm. im also getting a little crab underneath it, because i am a cancer and i believe strongly in those things. ive always wanted this tattoo since i saw it four years ago, and its an easy one to cover up.
it's peculiar that you are planning on getting tattoos you intend on eventually getting covered up... that's just like... pointless, and like, doesn't demonstrate that your tattoo *MEANS* anything, if you plan on covering it... take a while to think about these things, like for example, i plan on getting celtic tattoos, and most likely a bunch... i could get covered in all of them that exist and they would all have meaning but i haven't decided which ones i want that i will never have to think about getting covered up. don't bother getting tats you're going to cover.... and a lot of the time, cover ups just botch the area more than the original tattoo.. there are quite a few people walking around with odd-shaped blacked out spaces on their bodies because both the original and cover-up tattoo were fucked. be careful with your ink. and make it last, and make it meaningful.
well ya my dads in the business, and ive seen the kind of stupid tattoos that ppl get when they are young, and eventually get covered up. i just want to get mine small so that in case i really do hate it when im older ( which i doubt, but it is a possibility) i can get it covered. but i really like the design i have!
