I found a lovely picture of the Flower Carpet at the Grand-Palace, Brussels, Belgium and I thought the community might enjoy it.
http://i.imgur.com/y26nS.jpg I did a tiny bit of research on the event and Siiy can correct me if I'm wrong. Ummm apparently every other year since 1971, the Grand-Palace courtyard is turned into a carpet of flowers in order to celebrate the begonia. The begonia is chosen above all for its qualities of robustness, resistance to bad weather and strong sunshine the begonia guarantees the long life and lovely colors for the carpet. This years arrangement is the work of Antoine Durieux, a young, 23 year old Belgian designer.
If you want to see more, I recommend this lovely sight as it has information and pictures from previous years.
